Mr. Mohammad Shaukath Azeem
RANK: 345
SERVICE: IAS
YEAR: 2024
I joined Hamdard Study Circle (HSC) in December 2016 to begin my UPSC Civil Services preparation. It was a crucial turning point in my journey, and HSC provided the right environment to stay focused, consistent, and motivated.
One of the most helpful aspects was the weekly prelims test series, which was conducted regularly and evaluated with remarkable punctuality—marks were announced within two days. This not only kept us on track but also helped us monitor our progress closely. For Mains exam preparation, the presence of Academic Associates was a big support. They were approachable and offered personalized guidance, helping us fine-tune our strategies for both Prelims and Mains.
The infrastructure was also quite conducive for serious preparation. The food was decent, rooms were comfortable, and facilities like a gym and sports area provided a much-needed break from long hours of study. Physical activity helped maintain a balanced routine and mental well-being.
However, the biggest advantage of staying at HSC was the peer-learning environment. Being surrounded by like-minded and hardworking aspirants created a culture of mutual support and healthy competition. Group discussions, answer writing review sessions, and peer feedback played a critical role in my preparation.
My stay at HSC was more than just academic—it was a phase of personal growth, discipline, and resilience. I will always be grateful for the structure, support, and guidance, it offered during one of the most challenging journeys of my life. Gratitude!
