Rank: 34 Rank: IAS Batch: 2023 My association with Hamdard Study Circle began in January 2022, shortly after I had appeared for my first UPSC CSE Mains 2021. Soon enough, I realized what I had been missing so far- peer support group and a conducive learning environment. HSC ensures all basic facilities are provided to an aspirant - single AC room, a well maintained library, internet connectivity and timely food. The only thing an aspirant is therefore expected to do is to remain focused and study. In addition, HSC also has provisions for recreation - badminton, gym and football. The serene campus with lush green trees is like a hidden gem in the bustling city of Delhi. Staying in the campus itself reduces the stress levels often encountered during preparation phase. Also, HSC organises mock tests, answer writing discussions, mock interviews and seminar by rank holders on a regular basis. These arrangements helped me to improve my strategies and analyse my level of preparation. I am thankful to HSC for providing me with the right atmosphere and necessary guidance which contributed to my success in Civil Services Examination. The HSC alumni community is closely knit and we often reach out to each other for assistance. This in itself speaks volumes about how each of us associate with HSC and continue to remain connected with it.
